A seminar was organised by Punjab Front and Redical People’s Forum to discuss the issue of loot of Punjab river water and Punjab water crisis.

Punjab’s riparian rights were denied by the Indian state after 1947 partition. Extra-legal arrangements were made from time to time to distribute Punjab’s river water to non-riparian states namely Rajasthan, Delhi and Haryana.
