Sikh Historian Bhai Ajmer Singh addressed a gathering at Kapurthala on November 14, 2016. He cautioned the massed about current happenings in Indian politics. He said that Narendra Modi is presently following the footprints of Indira Gandhi who had forwarded her agenda to suppress freedoms during Emergency under the garb of slogan of prosperous India. He cautioned people against Narendra Modi’s so-called war against corruption and said that the things were rapidly forwarding in such a direction that there were serious apprehensions of suppression of basic freedoms and rights of minorities
