In this interview host was exited in the beginning but cooled down very quickly. Mr. Gazi focused on issues from start till end very well. One caller raised the issue of ‘Think Tanks’ was very interested. I want to add one point in this regard that most governments in this World now have two faces. One is called face government and second is behind the scene. Presidents and prime ministers are part of it, they cannot do anything without them. Sikhs should also take some other steps, such as;
1 Stay away from Ethnocentrism. Hindus are more prone to ethnocentrism, it is a belief that our group or culture is superior to all other groups and cultures and others are wrong and unnatural, this is why Hindus are not allowing any concessions to Sikhs. Sikhs should stay away from this kind of behaviour and should accept non Sikh or Hindu officer to preside over their function. Keep in mind that Sikhs are not rigid, instead they are flexible.
2 Think Tanks are essentials. Without them anything is impossible. They can turn negativity into positivity quickly and efficiently. For example our legal experts have turned Mr Bullar’s case from negative to positive. Keep in mind that pressure from outside World is based on legal grounds only.
3 Protect your leader at all cost. Without leader no one can succeed. Chinese protect Mao and Russians protect Lenin but Sikh did nothing to protect any of their leaders.
4 Strong and solid media group. In this environment it is essential to keep your voice loud and clear and without media it is not possible.
5 Logic and logistic. When we talk on radio, television or in the newspaper we should talk logically and not by faith. Faith is personal and private. People need reason to believe the statement, if you don’t have it, it will not be accepted.
Logic needs logistic and that logistic service can be provided by mouth, by electric and non electric media, by rallies, by banners and by slogans. Without logistic, logic can die easily and permanently. Christian’s schools in India and Punjab are providing language logistic service and cultural logistic service to their language and culture.
